Pav Bhaji


Pav Bhaji Recipe

Step 1: Boil potato and keep aside. Finely chop onions, garlic carrots, beans, green chillies, cabbage and cauliflower.
Step 2: Heat oil, add onions, garlic and green chillies, saute for 3 mins, add vegetables, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala and cook till vegetables are done.
Step 3: Add the boiled potatoes and mash to make a rough paste. Add generous amount of butter.
Serve with toasted pav, sliced lemon and chopped coriander leaves.

Luchi & Aloo Torkari

Luchi Aloo Torkari Recipe:

Luchi

Step 1: Knead all-purpose flour (maida) with a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of oil, and hot water for perfect luchis. Leave it be for 30 mins. 

Step 2: After 30 mins, roll out small dough balls, using a rolling pin, and flatten them out. 

Step 3: Deep fry till golden.

Aloo Torkari

Step 1: Heat oil, add paanchforon (Bengali spice mix), when it pops, add chopped potatoes and turmeric, cook for a bit, add water and green chillies, and cook on medium heat till the potatoes are done, add salt.

Step 2: Garnish with freshly chopped coriander.

Step 3: Serve hot.
